Alfredo Sauce

1/4 cup butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley


  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. 
  2. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add garlic, pepper and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. 
  4. Stir in parsley and serve.
